Summary: InvoiceMaker is a free tool. Use it lawfully, don't create fraudulent invoices, your data stays in your browser, and we provide the service "as is" without warranties. The full legal details are below.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using InvoiceMaker (the "Service") at https://yourdomain.com, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

We reserve the right to terminate access to the Service for any user who violates these terms.
4. Your Data and Privacy
InvoiceMaker is designed with privacy in mind:
• Invoice data you enter (business names, addresses, line items, amounts) is processed locally in your browser and is not stored on our servers unless you explicitly use a feature that transmits it (such as the Send Email feature).
• When you use the Send Email feature, the invoice data is temporarily transmitted to our servers solely to generate the PDF and dispatch the email, then immediately discarded.
• We do not sell your data to third parties.
• We use cookies and analytics tools (Google Analytics) to understand how users interact with the Service. This data is aggregated and anonymized.
• For full details, please read our Privacy Policy at https://yourdomain.com/privacy-policy.
5. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its original content, features, design, and functionality, is and will remain the exclusive property of InvoiceMaker and its licensors. Our trademarks, logo, and service marks may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent.
You retain full ownership of any invoice content you create using the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process your content solely to the extent necessary to provide the Service to you (for example, generating a PDF or sending an email on your behalf).
The invoice templates provided are licensed for your personal and commercial use — you may use them to create and send invoices for your business. You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute the templates themselves.
6. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with or links to third-party services including:
• Google Analytics — for usage analytics
• Google AdSense — for displaying advertisements
• Resend — for email delivery
• Hostinger — for web hosting
Your use of these third-party services is governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or reliability of third-party services. The presence of advertisements on the Service does not constitute our endorsement of the advertised products or services.
7. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that:
• The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure

8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, INVOICEMAKER AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
• Loss of profits, revenue, or data
• Business interruption
• Loss of clients or business opportunities
• Any damages arising from your use or inability to use the Service
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST SIX MONTHS, OR $10 USD, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
9. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless InvoiceMaker, its owners, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including attorney's fees) arising from:
• Your use of and access to the Service
• Your violation of any term of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party right, including intellectual property or privacy rights
• Any claim that content you submitted to the Service caused damage to a third party
• Any fraudulent, deceptive, or illegal invoices created using the Service
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, without notice — including if we believe you have violated these Terms.
Upon termination, all rights granted to you under these Terms will immediately cease. We will have no liability to you for any termination of your access to the Service.
You may stop using the Service at any time. Since the Service does not require account registration, no account deletion is necessary.
11. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, it shall be resolved through binding arbitration or the courts of the applicable jurisdiction.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
