InvoiceMaker was created because invoicing tools were either too expensive, too complicated, or asked for way too much personal information. We built the tool we wished existed.
Our Story
It started with a simple frustration. After finishing a freelance project, we went to generate an invoice and found our options were: wrestle with a Word template, sign up for a $15/month SaaS, or use an outdated tool from 2008 that uploaded everything to a server we knew nothing about.
None of those felt right. So we built InvoiceMaker — a tool that runs entirely in the browser, generates beautiful PDFs instantly, supports 22 currencies, and costs absolutely nothing.
The core principle was simple: no freelancer should have to pay to get paid. Invoicing is a basic business function, not a premium feature.
Today, InvoiceMaker is used by freelancers, contractors, consultants, photographers, developers, and small business owners in dozens of countries. Every invoice is created locally in the browser — your data never touches our servers.
